Two Batman’s will be patrolling Gotham in November

According to Grant Morrison, in November, there will be 2 Batman’s running around in Gotham City as DC plans to keep Dick Grayson and Bruce Wayne as Batman.

Starting in November, DETECTIVE COMICS, BATMAN and BATMAN AND ROBIN will feature the ongoing adventures of Dick Grayson as Batman, with Damian as Robin. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne will take center stage in the pages of Grant Morrison and Yanick Paquette’s BATMAN INC. and writer/artist David Finch’s BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT.

Not sure how this will work out, but it’s been said that Batman Inc. will be the start of Bruce Wayne making Batman a franchise opportunity of sorts.

Check it all out November 3, 2010 when the comics start hitting the store shelves!

Captain America movie will reference the Thor movie

Check out what director Joe Johnston recently said to CBM about the tie-ins for Captain America: The First Avenger to the other movies in the Marvel Universe:

JOE JOHNSTON: There are links between all the MARVEL films, mostly ones that only the fans will pick up on. We have several subtle references to certain elements in THOR, but since CAPTAIN AMERICA is a period picture taking place in the 40′s, there are fewer opportunities for contemporary links to the rest of the MARVEL universe. We can, however, create events in our story that will be paid off in AVENGERS and other MARVEL pictures.

Humm… what could a movie taking place in the 40’s possibly reference in the Thor movie?

The Cosmic Cube that Loki is seen with in Thor perhaps?  Click the photo below to read more about the cube!

Check out Captain America: The First Avenger when it arrives in theaters July 22, 2011.

Erica Durance to play Isis this season on Smallville

EW com revealed that Erica Durance will be playing not only Lois Lane this season on Smallville, but also the character “Isis” after Lois is possessed by a relic left behind of Isis’.

“Lois is actually going to be possessed by the spirit of Isis.” Was it good for you, Steve? BTW, quick clarification: Smallville‘s Isis isn’t the DC Comics character Isis. It’s the Egyptian goddess Isis with a nod to the DC Isis. Understand? Good, now explain it to me.

Smallville returns to the CW on September 24, 2010.

Allison Mack to return for 5 episodes during the final season of Smallville

During an interview with the New York Post, Allison Mack revealed that Chloe Sullivan will at least appear in five episodes this season to wrap up her character.

“I’ll be back for five total episodes.

I was very much ready to move on, and not because I was unhappy with the show or that anything bad happened, I was just very much ready to enter a new phase of my life. But I realized as we came towards the end of the season that my character wasn’t getting a completion. I didn’t feel comfortable walking away from the show, and my character, without a completion. So I committed to doing five episodes to giving her the ending I think she deserves. I do think there’s a relationship between my character and the people who’ve watched the show for so many years. I want to honor them, her and myself.

I think that I have a much deeper appreciation for what I have with that character and that show. Just the privilege it’s been to play her. It’s like the Joni Mitchell song, “you don’t know what you have till it’s gone.” Because ["Smallville' is] winding down, I’m able to really evaluate the life she has led, which has been a real honor.”

Smallville’s 10th & final season debuts on the CW September 24, 2010.
