Robert Rodriguez’s Predators reboot will arrive on DVD & Blu-ray October 19, 2010, and the details about the releases are now available!

Synopsis:

Royce (Adrien Brody), a mercenary, wakes up finding himself falling from the sky into a jungle. Once on the ground, he meets other people who have arrived there in the same manner, all of whom have questionable backgrounds, except for a doctor (Topher Grace). As the film progresses, the group discovers that they are on an alien planet that acts as a game reserve to which they are being hunted by a merciless race of aliens known as Predators.

Amazon has released a trailer for the upcoming special features on the Iron Man 2 Blu-ray.  Included in the special features is a S.H.I.E.L.D. Data Vault that will contain multiple references to other films in the Marvel universe (like The Incredible Hulk (minus images of Edward Norton), Captain America: The First Avenger, and Thor).

Universal Home Entertainment released a trailer for the upcoming Back To The Future 25th Anniversary Trilogy Blu-ray Edition that is coming to stores on October 26, 2010.

The set will include 2 hours of bonus features, a new 6-part retrospective documentary with interviews of the cast and crew, and much more.

Toy Story 3, the biggest film of the year, is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on November 2, 2010 according to Disney. 

You’ll be able to choose from four different releases of the movie:

• 2-disc Blu-ray
• Single disc DVD
• 2-disc Blu-ray with DVD and digital copy
• Spanish language only DVD

20th Century Fox has announced that they plan to release the cult-classic 1975 movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show to Blu-ray on October 19, 2010.

The movie tells the story of a couple named Brad and Janet (played by Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon respectively), who get lost and end up in a castle owned by Dr. Frank-N-Furter where all kinds of strange things happen.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse will arrive on DVD & Blu-ray September 28, 2010.

Redbox announced that it has started renting Blu-ray discs at 13,300 kiosks across the United States for a $1.50 a day plus tax!

Blu-ray availability across its entire network of kiosks is expected by Fall 2010.

According to Dwayne McDuffie, the DC Comics series All-Star Superman is coming to life on DVD and Blu-ray in an all new animated movie thanks to Warner Bros Home Entertainment.

No other news is known at this time, but the movie is expected in the Spring of 2011.

At SDCC 2010, DC Entertainment revealed plans to collect all of the DC Showcase animated shorts together and release them all on DVD and Blu-ray as a compilation. 

Featuring all three animated shorts The Spectre, Jonah Hex, and Green Arrow, the collection will also include a new short entitled Superman/Shazam! The Return of Black Adam where Justice League Unlimited voice artists Jerry O’Connell will reprise the role of Captain Marvel and George Newbern will reprise the role of Superman.  Black Adam will be voiced by Arnold Vosloo from The Mummy and Shazam will be voiced by legendary actor James Garner.

DC Showcase will arrive to DVD and Blu-ray November 9, 2010.
